People wonder what happens when we die. How will it feel? Will I be alone, or with family, and how will we live, if at all? I can tell you, after over thirty years of being a psychic medium and someone who has had two near-death experiences, you have nothing to be afraid of. In the following stories, I am going to share with you first-hand accounts from those who have passed away and are now living on the other side, in the place we call heaven.
In this first story, someone had come to me for a tarot card reading. The reading was going very well, and my client was relating to the messages I was giving her. All at once, I looked down at one of the cards and saw an older man, who looked to be in his seventies, sitting in a hot tub. I said to him, “What are you doing?” He replied, “I’m sitting in a hot tub, what does it look like I’m doing?” I said, “Oh.” He smiled at me and said, “Why don’t you join me?” I said, “Ahh, no thanks,” and he smiled again.
I looked up and said to my client, “I don’t know who this is, but there is a man here, sitting in a hot tub.” The woman said, “Oh, that’s my stepdad, Nate. He said when he died and went to heaven, he was going to sit in a hot tub for his arthritis.” I said, “That’s what he’s doing, and he just asked me to join him.” The woman said, “Oh, he was always a flirt with the women.” I laughed.
This next story is about a reading I did for a woman who wanted to connect with her deceased husband. As I continued the reading, he showed me that he was living in a cabin, down by a lake, and he told me he can go fishing whenever he likes in his aluminum fishing boat. He actually showed me the colour of the red logs that comprised the walls of his cabin. As he reached out and touched the wall he was sitting beside, I had the physical sensation of being able to touch the log he was feeling. It was amazing. He also told me he had their cat with him. When I passed this information along to my client, she was thrilled. She said that their dream was to build a log cabin down by a lake and that her husband loved fishing. She also shared that they did have a cat that they loved very much that had died. I think this is wonderful to know and so reassuring.
Many of my clients, friends and families who live on the other side have shown me their living environments. Spirits have shown me living in suburbs, mansions, log homes and farms, complete with animals. It is quite fantastic. The final thing I wanted to share is that not only spirits have shown me, but my very own spirit guides, is that the non-physical reality of the spirit world feels as physical to the souls who live there as our physical world does to us. People in heaven have shown me such activities as riding motorcycles, driving cars and buses and going to school to take art classes.
The other side is a physical feeling world, vibrant and active. It is a place of eternal beauty, joy and love, where those who live there are waiting for us to come home and reunite. Remember this and do not be afraid. There is no death. You are only crossing over to the other side of life and on to the next one. It is a homecoming. Please also remember, regardless of the circumstances of your loved one’s passing, they are well taken care of, loved and healed. There is no pain, and there is no judgment, only love for all.
