My Journey into Spiritual Work

Hello, I’m Becca Shaw. I’m really excited to share the magical world of Akashic Records, Tarot, & some amazing holistic therapies that I offer with you. 

So let’s start from the beginning…

How did you first get into spiritual work?

I grew up in England, a place where I often felt that the boundary between the physical & spiritual worlds was particularly thin. This sense of connection to the unseen deeply influenced me from a very early age. I found myself drawn to topics like magic, mythology, & healing, which seemed to resonate with my spiritual sensitivity.

When a new neighbour moved into our area who practiced Swedish massage, my mum saw an opportunity for me to learn something valuable. She arranged for me to visit the neighbour’s house once a week to study massage techniques under her guidance. Alongside this hands-on learning experience, my mum expanded & supported my growing interests by purchasing books on subjects such as massage, healing practices, & divination techniques.

My aunt, a witch, also played a significant role in shaping my early understanding of magic. She began teaching me about magical practices when I was still quite young (around 8 or 9). As I grew older, this foundation naturally led me toward exploring divination tools. I acquired my first Tarot deck around 11 years old which opened the door to further exploration & purchasing of Oracle cards & other methods of divination.

Holistic Healing & Divination

What forms of Holistic Healing are you qualified in?

How long have you got?!? I began my journey into holistic modalities at just 9 years old, learning from my neighbour (as I mentioned before) as well as teaching myself various techniques. This early exposure sparked a deep interest in natural healing methods, which I continue to explore to this day.

At the age of 19, I earned my first formal qualification, a diploma in Aromatherapy. Over the past two decades, I have pursued extensive education in holistic & spiritual practices, accumulating 22 diplomas across a wide range of disciplines. Additionally, I have developed self-taught expertise in several other areas.

My journey reflects a lifelong dedication to understanding & mastering holistic therapies. From various forms of massage therapy, to energy healing like Reiki, & Crystal Healing, to advanced spiritual modalities such as Akashic Records & Herbalism. This combination of formal training & self-guided learning has allowed me to develop a comprehensive skill set that supports physical, emotional, & spiritual well-being.

What forms of divination do you practice, & how did you come to learn them?

I have basic knowledge of several divination tools, including Rune casting (both Norse Runes and Witch’s Runes), Tea Leaf Reading, Bone Casting, Crystal Casting, & Smoke Reading. I have used Pendulums from a very young age & continue to rely on them as a quick & convenient tool for divination. However, my primary focus, the ones I use for professional readings & teach classes on, are Tarot & Oracle cards.

As mentioned before, my journey with divination began early in life. I first attempted to learn Tarot from the age of 11 & through my early teenage years, but I struggled to retain the information at that time. Additionally, I didn’t feel connected to the imagery on the deck I was using, which made it difficult for me to fully engage with the practice. As a result, I turned my attention to Oracle cards instead. Oracle cards felt more intuitive & natural for me to work with, so they became my primary tool for many years.

Eventually, however, I rediscovered Tarot in my later teens, & this time they resonated with me deeply. Finding decks that aligned better with my personal preferences played a significant role in rekindling my interest. Teaching Tarot also became an important part of my journey. It has not only helped me expand my own understanding, but also allowed me to empower others by guiding them toward discovering their own unique approach to reading Tarot for themselves.

Wow! That’s a lot of modalities. What is your current favourite?

I love every single modality I do, however I’d have to say my current favourite is the Akashic Records for sure!

There’s just something so profound & transformative about working with the Akashic Records that keeps me coming back to them again & again. It’s like having access to this infinite library of wisdom, guidance, & healing energy that’s tailored specifically for you. Every visit feels like peeling back another layer of understanding about yourself, your soul, & your journey in this life (& beyond). It’s a truly magical connection & experience!

The Power of Akashic Records

How did you get into the Akashic Records?

Honestly, I put it off for ages! I was so busy diving into other modalities. I prioritized them because they felt more “practical” or accessible at the time & so I kept pushing the Akashic Records on the back burner. 

But then in 2019, everything changed. I found a teacher who approached the Akashic Records in a slightly different way than what I’d seen before. His syllabus really resonated with me & it & deeply aligned with where I was on my spiritual path. So I finally decided to sign up for his course. And wow… from the very first lesson, it was like something clicked inside me. It came so naturally to me that it felt like I’d been doing it for all of my lifetimes! That’s when I knew this wasn’t just another modality – it was something much deeper for me.

So, what exactly are the Akashic Records & how are they accessed?

The Akashic Records are essentially an energetic database, a kind of cosmic library, that holds all the information about your soul across all timelines: past lives, present life experiences, future possibilities… everything! Think of it as a place where every thought, action, emotion, & experience your soul has ever had or will have is recorded.

Accessing the Records involves entering a specific meditative state & connecting with a higher realm of consciousness. Once you’re “in” your Records “building” you can ask questions or explore areas of your life where you need clarity or healing. It’s not just about receiving answers; it’s also about finding the “why”, the lessons, & receiving healing at a soul level. The experience is incredibly grounding yet expansive at the same time. It’s something you have to experience to truly comprehend!

What kind of information can someone expect to gain from an Akashic Records reading?

The beauty of an Akashic Records is that there are virtually no limits to what you can explore! People often come seeking clarity on specific issues; like relationships, career decisions, health concerns, etc. Once we’re in their Records, we can go so much deeper.

For example:

  • You might uncover insights about past lives that are influencing patterns or challenges in your current life.
  • You could explore future possibilities based on different choices you’re considering right now.
  • We can dive into trauma healing by identifying energetic blocks or unresolved emotions stored in your Records.
  • You might gain clarity around soul contracts (agreements made between souls before incarnating) to understand why certain people or situations are part of your journey.
  • Or maybe you’re simply looking for guidance on how to align more fully with your purpose or make empowered decisions.

It’s truly limitless because every session is uniquely tailored to what you need most at that moment in time.

How are you different from other Akashic Records Practitioners & Coaches?

Most practitioners work by going into their client’s Records for them. They interpret what they find there & relay that information back to the client. It’s kind of like getting a Tarot reading: insightful & helpful but ultimately dependent on someone else interpreting things for you.

The way I was taught, & what makes my approach unique, is that I don’t just act as a practitioner or reader; I’m YOUR Akashic Records coach! This means that instead of doing all the work for my clients, I take them with me into their own Records & guide them through exploring what they find there for themselves.

This approach is so much more empowering because clients aren’t just passively receiving information – they’re actively engaging with their own soul-level truth. They leave sessions feeling enlightened, healed & tieh a lasting transformation rather than temporary insight, & that’s what makes all the difference! 

As with all my modalities, I want my clients & students to be empowered to take their life, their learning, & their healing into their own hands. 

Can you give us an example?

Sure! Let me compare it to Tarot for a second because most people are familiar with how Tarot works. If I do a Tarot reading for someone & tell them they’re in an unhealthy relationship, or stuck in some kind of toxic dynamic, they might nod along & say “Okay… thanks,” but then walk away without making any real changes or simply “wait” for the events to play out just like the Tarot told them it would, without putting in any work themselves or truly understanding the “point” to it all.

Now imagine instead that we go into their Akashic Records together. In this scenario, they see first-hand how this relationship is affecting them energetically.  Or maybe they discover how it ties back to unresolved karma from a past life or unhealed trauma from childhood. & suddenly, just like that, everything clicks for them on such a deep level that they say: “Oh my gosh… this isn’t serving me anymore. I need to set some boundaries (or leave entirely).”

That shift from being told something by someone else versus discovering it within yourself is incredibly powerful because when people see things clearly within their own Records, they feel inspired (& often compelled) to take action once they leave our session. That’s why coaching through the Records is so much more impactful than simply reading them. It gives the power back into the client’s hands where it belongs!

Can you share an example of when Akashic Records has helped significantly impact a client’s life?

Absolutely! Let me tell you about one of my clients that I use ass an example the most:

In 2021 woman came to me feeling completely defeated by life. She was in her 40s, still living with her parents, with no career, no romantic relationship, & absolutely no self-confidence. When I say “no confidence,” I mean zero self-love or belief! She felt like she had wasted her entire life & hated her body so much that she had become completely detached from it, even going so far as to give it a separate name. (Let’s call it “A”). She would speak about herself in the third person. 

She would constantly berate “A,” calling her fat, ugly, a failure, & saying things like, “No one likes ‘A.’” It was heartbreaking to see how deeply disconnected she was from herself. But this is where the magic of the Akashic Records came into play.

We started working together through Akashic Records sessions & spiritual counseling every 4-6 weeks for about a year. During these sessions, we uncovered something extraordinary: she is a starseed (a soul originating from other dimensions or planets) who had very little experience in the third dimension. This was actually her first incarnation on Earth! Her soul was struggling with being “trapped” in a physical body because it wasn’t used to the limitations of human existence.

Through the Akashic Records, we explored her past lives on other planets & connected deeply with her Akashic Guides & Angels. These spiritual Beings provided profound insights into why she felt so out of place here on Earth. We also worked extensively on healing her limiting beliefs around appearance, self-worth, & confidence.

As time went on, something beautiful began to happen. Near the end of our year-long journey together, she told me that she had decided to take “A” under her wing. She realized that it wasn’t “A’s” fault & it wasn’t fair to blame her body for what her soul was struggling with. Instead of criticizing “A,” she chose to nurture & care for her as if she was “A”’s mother. This shift in perspective changed everything.

She started treating herself with kindness, grace, empathy, & understanding. Her relationship with her body transformed; instead of hating it, she began to appreciate it as part of her earthly experience. With this newfound self-love came other changes: she found a job that brought her joy, made new friends who genuinely cared for her, & became more confident overall & even standing up for herself & speaking her truth. 

Today, she’s happier than ever before & still keeps me updated on all the wonderful progress she’s making.

This client’s story is one of my greatest success stories because it shows how powerful the Akashic Records can be in helping someone reconnect with their Soul’s true essence & purpose. It’s not just about uncovering past lives or cosmic origins, it’s about using those insights to heal deep wounds & create meaningful change in this lifetime.
