Check Your Shoe Laces: The Power of Intuition and Psychic Guidance

I wanted to write this article to demonstrate the true value of intuition. I am going to start by telling you a story about shoe laces.

One day, I was walking down the street, and my guides said, “Check your shoe laces.” I didn’t listen. I took one more step and fell flat on the ground, cutting my knees and my hands.

I looked, and sure enough, both of my shoe laces were untied. I had to laugh. I thought, boy oh boy, I should have listened.

Another time, I was walking down the stairs at my apartment building, and again I heard my guides say, “Check your shoe laces.”

This time, I stopped dead in my tracks and when I looked down, both of my shoe laces were untied. If I hadn’t listened, I could possibly have fallen down the stairs.

In and of themselves, these are minor occurrences, but still important lessons. I want to share this next very important example.

One morning, after working a midnight shift, I was driving home on the highway. I was coming up to the top of the hill, and my guides said, “Put on your brakes, now!”

Without a second thought, I immediately put on my brakes. Within seconds, a little boy on a bicycle rode his bike directly across the road in front of me.

He didn’t look right or left. Had I not listened, there is no doubt in my mind I would have hit him.

I thought, thank God I listened. I started speeding up my car.

Again, I heard my guides say, “Put on your brakes.” I thought, but I just did?

They said, “Do it again.” I did so, and another boy on a bicycle rode across the road in front of me, not looking left or right.

If I had chosen not to listen, I would have hit him and possibly killed one or both of those boys.

I know these are very serious examples, but listening to your intuition is so very important.

Many of us are taught to value logic over intuition. It is how we are raised and educated.

As a medium, I know I have spirit guides, and everyone does. This higher guidance is always available to us.

I want to share this last example with you.

I was driving home one night after attending a hands-on healing workshop called “Reiki.” I got lost, really lost.

It was dark, foggy and raining. My gas gauge was broken, and I did not know how much gas I had left, and I had no cell phone to call for help.

I was about to turn my car around and go back in the opposite direction, and I decided to pull over and say a prayer for help.

Within moments, I heard a thought that said, “Drive about a mile and a half straight down the road, and you will see a sign on the right, and you will know where to go from there.”

I decided to listen and follow the direction I was given.

I drove a mile and a half down the road, and on the right-hand side was a white church.

In front of the church at the side of the road was a sign, pointing to the town that I was on the way to my home.

Had I not listened, I would have still been lost and run out of gas.

It was not a well-travelled road, and I could have been there a very long time.

We all get these intuitive insights, whether we consider ourselves psychic or not.

I believe that we are all psychic.

Sometimes we doubt and question ourselves. We say, “What if I am wrong?” What if people don’t understand, etc?

I want to tell you, intuition is always right. It gives clear and direct advice.

It does not go around and around like anxiety or worry, and that is how you tell the difference.

Intuition always works in your highest favour, and listening to it is so very important.

Peace Lynda.
