Discovering My Path as a Psychic

What inspired you to turn your natural gifts into a professional career as a psychic?

I began my journey at birth. I am blessed with the ability to sense beyond our physical realm, and this guided me through life to allow my gifts to expand when the time was right. I have been able to see spirits, energies, and other realms for as long as I can remember. I used this in a more traditional sense and became a counsellor in the criminal justice system. I quickly excelled and became a teacher in several states and federally. I knew there was more for me to accomplish in this life, and I started offering readings professionally in 2020. My business and gifts expanded beyond expectation creating a fulfilling and empowering career.

Connecting Through Empowerment in Healing

How do you help people feel empowered and connected on their healing journey?

I am an empowerment coach in every aspect of that I do. I create space for people to heal themselves. This may be through channelled messages, clearings, and/or Reiki energy healing. Those on a healing journey, receive channelled homework to continue to feel empowered and connected.

What types of spiritual and healing services do you offer to support others?

I offer Reiki energy healing, psychic tarot readings, mediumship, home and land clearings, spiritual awakening guidance, ghost/entity removal, animal communication, teach yoga, and teach Usui, Violet Flame, and Kundalini Reiki.

What methods do you use to connect deeply with clients during your sessions?

I remind myself that we are always changing. Energies change, our current astrology changes, behaviours and thoughts change. I believe everyone needs something different for their spiritual growth in that moment and in that specific energy. I am gifted in seeing patterns of behaviour that are not changing and therefore holding them back. We can find ourselves in cycles that are causing pain and misery. Weather it is a psychic reading or Reiki energy healing, I stay in the moment with my client.

How do you help people going through spiritual struggles or big life questions?

As an empowerment coach, times of crisis is a great opportunity to feel loved and supported from all realms. Sometimes people need someone to listen to them, to not feel crazy, and be around someone who understands where they are coming from. Most people want to know they aren’t going crazy! From there, I receive messages to see how the client may feel safe and more grounded in their body and reality. We take it nice and slow when things feel like they are falling apart.

How do you help people see what might happen in their future during a reading?

I am able to predict and see possible timelines in readings by allowing myself to fully channel without opinion. I see, feel, sense, know the outcome or possible outcomes to offer them to my client so they feel empowered in making the best choice for them.

How do you stay true to yourself while working with clients?

I connect with my genuine self in my work by allowing myself to channel freely. I imagine I am taking all my thoughts and feelings, gently placing them on a shelf next to me, for them to rest and relax during my sessions. This allows my higher self to flow and channel without any preconceived notions.

How do you keep your own spiritual well-being balanced and enjoyable?

I make sure to have fun and enjoy taking care of my own spiritual well-being. Yoga is a key tool for me, as a teaching or student, my practice has helped me stay grounded and aligned. It reminds me to focus on my breath, and I love to practice barefoot outside. I enjoy grounding and eating root vegetable to balance my energy since I spend so much time in my upper chakras. I am always down for an impromptu dance session or shaking it out.

Sharing Knowledge Within the Spiritual Community

How do you share your knowledge and connect with the spiritual community?

I am an admin of a Witchy Facebook group for witches located in Connecticut. I teach Yoga with Yoga In Our City, which is free yoga in the park for anyone in the community during the warmer months. I teach intuitive classes and tarot 101 at yoga fests along the East coast. I give intuitive messages and readings on TikTok and you can find me under Abriella Reads. My girlfriend and I recently started a very exciting podcast, Spellz and Reads, to connect everyday events with witchy and galactic conversations.

What advice would you give to someone beginning their spiritual journey?

Take it slowly. There are a lot of starts and stops on this journey. You may need to focus on grounding and growing your roots as you reach for the sky and expand upwards. Balance is key in maintaining a healthy life while opening your gifts. The best channelled piece of advice I have received for those looking for guidance is, “Mentors are like books on a vast bookshelf. Everyone has something to offer, and no one likes a lonely bookshelf with one book.” Expand your horizons and have fun exploring and finding teachers that align with you. This journey is meant to be fun!

What do you see for the future of spirituality, and how will you grow and contribute to it?

I see more and more people accepting and going into spiritual work. It is becoming increasingly established in our society and attracting all kinds of helpers. I see my niche in helping budding healers embrace their unique abilities. There is so much beauty in how each person may utilize their individual gifts.

The Journey of the Soul: Messages and Meanings

How do you understand the symbols or messages that come to you during a reading?

A lot of practice and meditation. Taking care of my physical, mental, and spiritual health allows me to be patient and centred in my spiritual work. I may receive a message visually, verbally, as a feeling, or a knowing, so I allow myself to create space for that message to take form and to be received. I many use divination tools such as, tarot cards, charms, bones, tea leaves to give the messages a physical form. I use my hands and musical instruments during Reiki to move the energy received in the message. I use physical touch in Reiki which allows for human connection.

Have you ever faced bad energy during a reading, and how did you deal with it?

Yes, I address the energy with curiosity. What is it? Why is it here? What is this energy telling me about my client? Why was this energy attracted in the first place? What purpose does it serve? This allows me to get the full picture of what we are working with and how to progress forwards. There may be an energy repeating from past lives, through generations, or a newer energy that has been picked up along the way. Everything serves a purpose, so I use that as empowerment in my sessions.

What do you think happens to the soul when a person dies?

I see the soul leave the body even before we declare death. Some souls may stick around to watch, some take some convincing by loved ones to leave, and some are ready to leave right away. I see the soul cleansing process like going through a waterfall. Clearing all our ego, perceptions, and anything holding us to the physical realm. These souls feel so clear and enlightened to me. Souls choose their path from there. Some stick around to help their families, like boots on the ground work. I see others who pop in and out when needed, and some need time to recoup after passing over. We are infinite so options are infinite.

How do fate and free will work together in our lives?

Fate and free will work together beautifully. We can utilize our free will within our fated path to create more satisfaction and joy along our journey. I channel throughout the reading to create a sense of what is in and what is outside of control to empower the areas of choice and create a sense of comfort in the fated aspects. We might as well enjoy our time on earth while we have it! Spirit reminds me how preciously short life is even if we live until 105.
