A Life-Changing Encounter at the Kenwood Inn
How did you first realize you had a connection with spirits?
My spiritual journey as a psychic empath started while researching and writing my book, “Florida’s Haunted Hospitality.” My first encounter with a spirit happened when I stayed the night at a haunted inn in St. Augustine, Florida. From a young age, I was interested in the paranormal and wanted to have personal experience while staying at one of the most haunted inns in the country. The night I stayed at the Kenwood Inn would change my views on the spirit world forever.
That night I was dreaming of a woman’s memory of how she died. It felt like I was her, feeling every moment. I woke up from the dream abruptly to witness and feel the presence of a woman spirit walk into the bedroom and stand at the foot of my bed looking at me for help. Telepathically she told me to look up her story in the historical library in town. She gave me specific days and details to find accounts of her in print. I later found out she was a writer and had stayed at the inn in the early 1900s, and had become involved in a plot with the hotel’s owner.
By discovering her story, I dedicated my book in her name and continued my journey in helping spirits speak. It was then I knew I was a messenger for spirit and I set out to explore all aspects of the paranormal and psychic mediumship. This led me to write about my personal experiences and research 18 of the most haunted inns and sites in Florida, and work with top paranormal research groups. This was a growing experience for me where I learned about Spiritualism and how to channel and trust my instincts in spirit communication.
The Power of Dreams and Spirit Communication
How did your dreams help you discover and grow your spiritual gifts?
One aspect of spirit communication that surprised me was the dream realm and the subconscious. I looked back at my childhood and rediscovered that I was already communicating with spirits and the divine from an early age. As a child I would dream of a specific place and people and later in life visit that exact location – these became pivotal moments in my spiritual journey.
My dream journey eventually led me to Cassadaga, Florida, the “Psychic Capital of the World.” Before ever visiting Cassadaga, I had a futuristic dream of me walking in a small town with Victorian houses, hilled-topped streets, and a festival with vendors. I later met a friend that told me about Cassadaga, and she wanted me to attend a séance there with her. This introduction to the town guided me to get my first psychic reading, where the reader predicted that I would be selling my jewelry at their Gala Days.
A few months later I was a vendor at Gala Days, and I met my spiritual mentor, Cassadaga psychic medium Rev. Ed Conklin. He opened me up to receiving and channeling more spiritual messages with meditation and skill set. I learned I could tap into people’s past lives and remote view, and that I was skilled at psychometry, automatic writing, aura/energy reading, and mediumship with loved ones, angels, ancestors, and entities. It was my mentor Ed who encouraged me to do psychic house cleansings professionally. What sets me apart from others in my field of work is my ability to remote view in the property and see what’s going on spiritually as well as energetically. I do channeled automatic writing with the visions of the property, spirits, and owners and go into the property cleansing with an all-over account of what’s happening energetically and spiritually. I then set up a ritual that I use with sage, herbs, crystals, salts and candles to expel and remove any negative energy or entity, and fill the space with a blessing ritual of love, light and pure cleansed energy.

How do you use your psychic abilities to help clients?
My spiritual journey continues today, where I presently work at Hotel Cassadaga doing mini psychic readings with oracle cards and mediumship. A new aspect of divination that I adopted is adding a personal prayer ritual that I do before each reading of a client. I channel the Divine White Light, angels, ancestors, spirit guides, and loved ones, and ask for spiritual guidance and personal messages for my client’s higher power and journey in their life. I have discovered during these psychic readings that both client and reader act as “oracles” of divine inspirations for each other, with both mirroring aspects of our lives to reflect on and discover deeper truths. I encourage clients to tap into their soul’s path and reach out to embrace manifesting their dreams in the future while also reflecting on the past trials and tribulations as learning experiences and stepping stones into growth.
I have learned so much about this multidimensional life on earth and the universe beyond, through the inspirational clients, mentors and people I meet in everyday passing. Spirits and angels speak to me everyday and throughout time have been by my side offering insights and bringing forth messages to those who seek it.
I now offer in-person and phone readings in my office in Ormond Beach, Florida. A typical reading involves a channeled written spirit message that I write before the appointment. I then do a channeled prayer ritual to receive further insights into the client’s personal life, past, present, and future. Oracle cards are used to answer specific questions and get a clear view of what the client needs. I encourage self-discovery and empowerment, helping people manifest their dreams. The most powerful aspect of my line of work is the ability to reveal deep truths that people often feel but struggle to articulate. Psychic readings can offer clarity, validation and healing. My personal mantra is “Enjoy the Journey.”
